PROJECT IN DEVELOPMENT
SYNOPSIS: “ Haunted by the guilt of killing an enemy soldier, Private Thomas Cameron struggles to reconnect with a world he no longer understands.
When Tom returns to his sleepy hometown in the wake of the Falklands, he is greeted with the news that his abusive father had died while away at war. With the birth of his first child on the horizon and his next posting to Belfast only weeks away, he must battle an internal war to become the father his family deserve.”
Man in Amber is a very personal story inspired by family experiences of living with military post traumatic stress disorder. The film touches on themes of loneliness, toxic masculinity and racism that are ever present in my work.
The project is currently in the early stages of script development.
